The concept of Israeltravel4U began one morning in 2010 while talking to a friend about her upcoming trip to Israel with her family. As a relatively new Oleh (immigrant to Israel), stay-at-home mom, with a passion for Israel and much needed vacations, I began to notice a pattern. I became suddenly very popular with our friends from abroad before each vacation and holiday, as I'd be flooded with calls from long forgotten friends that were planning vacations to Israel and would "love to see us"...Oh, and do I happen to know of any great new activities going on? I found that I actually did have a lot to offer. Living here, and planning our family trips here I know the sites, literally live them with my family-- know what works what doesn't...what's fun, what's substantive, which sites may be too commercial, too pricey...what's a little (or a lot) off the beaten path! I realized that I could devise successful and fun travel plans based on the perspective of "been there, done that."
